Hence your written work needs to be delivered in a systematic manner where there is a sequence and an arrangement as to how you present the message instilled within your written work. The first thing that you need to do is set the path for you straight so here is what you can ponder on:
- Familiarize yourself with the given topic, look at what it is requesting you to do.
- Once you have identified the core questions and concepts it relates to, now it is time to brainstorm for ideas.
- Once you have completed brainstorming for ideas regarding your topic, you need to select the ones that are the most relevant and will offer you substantial value to your paper, discard the ones that are irrelevant.

- Lastly there comes your conclusion. Again they need to be written in a concise manner and be precise in their meaning. Provide justifications for your rulings and opinions. This is where you final verdict for the given topic or subject is relayed to the readers and evaluators of your written work. As a general rule conclusions should not longer than the 20% of your total word count limit for the entire task.
By now you should be aware that academic written work is as formal as it can get, hence it is mandatory for you to present it in a formal way. Here is what you should focus on:
- Create a cover/title page for your document that goes on top of your written work. It should clearly mention the name of your institution, the topic and subject of your work, the submission date, and the author’s name.
- All the pages of your document should have page numbers along with headers and footers.
- Use a readable font size and style throughout your paper, do not use more than one style of font in your written work.
- The line spacing between your sentences, headings, and paragraph should be consistent as well as the overall text alignment and paragraph indentations too.
- Only an approved referencing system should be used as well as a footnotes format.
- Insert a table of contents before your actual document begins, it should be updated and accurate.
- Include a separate but complete bibliography section at the end of your paper that mentions all your references and citations used within the paper with their complete details.
